Documentation
Definition
Specifies that the execution of the order is to take place in an EWM system as a kit-to-stock process.
Use
Set this indicator if orders with this production scheduling profile are to trigger a kit-to-stock process in a connected EWM system at the time of order release.
Dependencies
If this indicator has been set, order release can only be effected subject to certain preconditions:
- The order contains no co- or by-products and a goods receipt is expected for the order item.
- The order does not belong to an order network.
- None of the order components is to be backflushed, is procured externally, or is a "part to be provided" (subcontracting component)
- The requirement date/time of all goods-movement-relevant components is identical.
- The plant/storage location combination of the order item and all goods- movement-relevant components refer to the same warehouse number and this warehouse is managed by the EWM system.
- No operation of the order provides for automatic goods receipt.
- A trigger point that creates a rework order or inserts a reference operation set is not defined in any operation.
If one of these conditions is not satisfied, release is refused and either another production scheduling profile must be chosen or the reason for refusal dealt with.
Following the successful release of the order, an outbound delivery is created for the components and an inbound delivery for the order item. These are then distributed to the EWM system. After this, the order itself cannot be changed.
