Definition

Name of the printer where the cost center report is to be printed.

Use

When mass reports are created, each cost center and cost center area can receive the corresponding reports from the local printers.

For example, if a variation is carried out at period-end closing, the reports can be made available directly to the cost center manager. As part of the variation, the cost center report is included for the cost center assigned as representative cost center for the given node.

Procedure

Enter the name of the printer in the cost center master data record.

If the Report Writer report is started via "Start with selection screen", use the pushbutton "Output parameters" to enter "3" for "Screen/local printer".

Time dependency

You can define this field as time-based in the configuration menu of Cost Center Accounting.

  • If you activate this indicator, you can maintain separate data for any number of different time intervals.
  • If you do not activate this indicator, you can make only one field entry valid for all intervals. If, however, you change a time-based field, you can enter a new value in the non-time-based field that is valid for the interval of the time-based field.
