Definition
Set of accounts which will be excluded from the overhead calculation. In Canada, this is applicable to Exploration, Drilling and Construction stepped rate overheads. In the North Sea, this is applicable to Parent Company Overheads.
An exclusion set can be assigned at the Company and/or Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) level. In Canada, an override set can also be assigned at the WBS level. The set assigned at the JOA level will override the set assigned at the company level. The set assigned at the WBS level will override the set(s) assigned at the company and/or JOA level.
Therefore, the set assigned at the company level should be as generic as possible to attempt to cover the majority of JOA's within the company.
All expense accounts will be included in the calculation unless they are within the appropriate set of exclusion accounts.
This set must be a Basic or Single-Dimension set. The dimension of the set must be RACCT (Account) and the table of the set must be JVTO1.
