Definition
Stepped Rate Overhead Rules compare currency amounts to thresholds to determine an overhead amount. The rules are created at the company level in table T8J8B. The amounts included can be for the current period only, the year-to-date or inception-to-date. This is controlled by the timeframe of the rule.
Once a rule has been created in table T8J8B, it can be used as an MCO or Catastrophe overhead in the U.S.. In the North Sea, the rule can be assigned as a Parent Company Overhead. For Canada, the rule can be used as a Construction Overhead, Exploration Overhead or Drilling Overhead.
