Definition used by the Cost Calculations program for Canadian payroll burden clearing.
The rate is assigned at the company level and on each Joint Operating Agreement that requires Payroll Burden Clearing. If the rate allowed by the agreement is less than the rate defined for the company, the Burden amount for the JOA will be adjusted to conform to the JOA rate.
