Definition

The statistical range of coverage states the number of days the available quantity covers requirements. This is assuming average daily requirements and that no new receipts are taken into account.

The statistical range of coverage is calculated using the following formula:
Available quantity at present moment/average daily requirements

The system calculates the average daily requirements using the parameters that you have maintained in the range of coverage profile.

Dependencies

The statistical range of coverage corresponds to the target range of coverage that you have defined in Define range of coverage profile, if there is not excess coverage or insufficient coverage.
