Definition
This indicator specifies that the service end date was set manually and cannot be modified by the system.
Exceptions
Extended services cannot exist outside of the inpatient stay. If, for example, a discharge is dated a few days earlier thus causing the manually set end date for an extended service to occur after the discharge, the system sets the service end date to the discharge date/time and deselects this indicator.
