Definition
This indicator specifies that the service start date was set manually and cannot be modified by the system.
Exceptions
Extended services cannot exist outside of the inpatient stay. If, for example, an admission is dated a few days later thus causing the manually set start date ofr an extended service to occur before the admission, the system sets the service start date to the admission date/time and deselects this indicator.
