Documentation
Definition
Describes the role of a secondary installation in an installation group.
Use
When you make an entry in the field Key for Primary Installation in a utility installation, you define this installation as a secondary installation within an installation group. You use the installation role to describe the characteristics of the secondary installation. The installation role and the grouping type of the primary installation control how the installation group is billed.
Dependencies
The primary installation grouping type determines which installation roles can be used for secondary installations in this installation group.
A general consistency check of the rules used to bill an installation group is executed in the following report.
