Organizational unit used to combine multiple cost centers.

Use

You can create any number of cost center groups, independent of the standard hierarchy.

You can summarize cost center groups into further cost center groups, thus creating a cost center hierarchy.

You can use a cost center group, for example, to create a report for multiple cost centers or to process multiple cost centers in one business transaction.

Information system:

If you want to execute reports using Selection variants, enter the <Name of the selection variant> instead of a cost center group when you call up the report on the selection screen.
