Documentation

Definition

Date on which a data record is valid.

Procedure

The SAP system proposes today's date. You can change this date if you wish.

Supplementary Documentation - ESEDIAGVD 0001

The field is assigned the current date as the default. You can change this value.

The system determines all work areas that are valid on the key date. For work areas that have a number of versions, this means that only one version (that valid on the key date) is ever displayed.

Dependencies

If you specify a validity interval as a selection criterion in addition to the key date, the system determines all work areas that are valid on the key date and fulfill the selection conditions on at least one day within the validity interval. The days can be different for each selection criterion.
