Documentation
Definition
Key that determines the level at which results analysis is performed.
Use
- If you choose Totals level, the system will calculate the following for each order:
These amounts will then be apportioned to the line IDs according to the method of apportionment you specify in the valuation method.
- If you choose Line IDs, separate amounts will be calculated for each line ID.
Note that this may result in work in process being shown for one line ID while reserves are shown for another line ID, even though as a total there is only work in process or only reserves. This means that the value shown for one line ID may overcompensate the value shown for another line ID.
In such cases the only reliable figure is the total of the results analysis amounts of all line IDs that results in the total results analysis amount.
Procedure
SAP recommends using totals level.
Dependencies
When it calculates WIP for product cost collectors, production orders, and process orders, the standard system uses the valuation level "S" (totals level).
