Definition
Controls how the system calculates call points in maintenance plan scheduling. You can use the call horizon to define when the system creates a maintenance call object during a maintenance cycle. You can define the call horizon as follows:
% Call Horizon in Percent
DAY Call Horizon in Days
FCD Call Horizon in Factory Calendar Days
Use
Call Horizon in %
If you define the call horizon in %, the system uses this percentage of the maintenance cycle to determine the times for the maintenance calls. If you define 0%, the maintenance call would take place immediately, and if you define 100% the maintenance call would be the planned date.
Call Horizon in Days (DAY)
If you define the call horizon in days (DAY), the system generates maintenance call objects a specific number of days before the planned date. When scheduling the maintenance call, the system does not take weekends, holidays, or your company's vacation shutdown into account.
Call Horizon in Factory Calendar Days (FCD)
If you define the call horizon in factory calendar days (FCD), the system generates maintenance call objects a specific number of working days before the planned date. The system bases scheduling on the assigned factory calendar and takes weekends, holidays, and your company's vacation shutdown into account.
