Remove assignment of chart of accounts to controlling area

Use

If you delete all cost elements in the controlling area, you can use this switch to control system behavior with regard to the assignment of a chart of accounts to a controlling area:

• Switch is activated: The assignment of the chart of accounts to the controlling area is deleted when all cost elements have been deleted. After this, you have to assign a new chart of accounts in the basic data of the controlling area. This setting is useful if all cost elements should be deleted so that a new chart of accounts can then be assigned to the controlling area.
• Switch is not activated: The basic data of the controlling area remains unchanged
