Documentation
Definition
Specifies the target currency when converting a rate into another format.
Use
During commodity pricing engine (CPE) formula evaluation, a rate often has to be converted into another format. By specifying the currency and the unit of measurement for the source (Curr: Convert from and UoM: Convert from) and for the target (Curr: Convert to and UoM: Convert to), you can find the appropriate conversion rule, which defines how the rate is converted. The conversion place specifies when this conversion will occur.
If no entry with these details is found, then the system will search using only the conversion place as a criterion. The system then attempts to find an entry for the generic Conversion Place 0 with currencies and units filled. If this does not return an entry, the system then searches for Conversion Place 0 only.
