Definition

This field contains the department as part of the business address. The field describes the department from the point of view of the firm in question.

In the case of a customer contact person this is the department description used at the customer, and in the case of the user this is the description that is valid within his firm.

This generally corresponds to the department description appearing on the visiting-card.

The department is taken into account when the address is printed, e.g.:
