Definition

Determines the origin of the start or finish dates for forward and backward scheduling.

Use

The values have the following significance:

1. Set date
   The date is explicitly predefined.
2. Shift date
   The date is shifted by the predefined time period. The value can be positive or negative.
3. Take date from sales order
   The date is taken from the sales order. This selection is only offered for the finish date.
4. Determine date by scheduling
   The date is determined by scheduling. With forward scheduling this selection is only offered for the finish date. With backward scheduling this selection is only offered for the start date.
5. Set date to date for total commitment
   The date for total commitment is taken from the availability check. selection is only offered for the end date.
