Definition

Controls the scope of the release for an operation.

Use

The values have the following meanings:

1. Release of an individual operation
   Only the operation selected is released. The release cannot take place if a preceding operation has not been released or if a direct production assembly is assigned to the operation and the order belonging to the assembly has not been released.
2. Release of operation and predecessor
   The operation and all of the preceding operations are released. The orders belonging to the direct production assemblies assigned to one of these operations are also released.
3. Order release
   The order of the operation itself and all the hierarchically subordinate orders in the collective order are released.
4. Collective order release
   If the operation belongs to a simple order then the order release described in the preceding point is carried out. If the order for the operation belongs to a collective order then the whole collective order including all of the superior orders are released.
