You use this indicator to specify that the multi-level bill of material for the assignemet is exploded level by level.
Dependencies
If you set this indicator, you must also set the Prelim. reqmts indicator. If you do not, the requirements may be generated by the network as well as by material requirements planning since a multi-level BOM explosion is always carried out during material requirement planning. This would result in excess requirements.

If you execute a multi-level BOM explosion here, requirements can be generated from the networks and also in MRP. This means that the multiple requirements could exist, since MRP always explodes all the levels of the BOM.
