Documentation
Definition
Time period during which the header record of a batch record is retained in the SAP database after the batch record has been archived optically.
Dependencies
Batch records or their header records can only be deleted from the SAP System after the availability period has expired.
If you do not enter anything here, the System uses an availability period of 5 years for the batch record of the selected material.
Note
You can only access the archive files of a batch record in the SAP System up until the corresponding header record is deleted. Therefore, with the availability period, you determine how long a batch record can be displayed in the SAP System.
