Definition

The contact can be represented using different objects in the R/3 System (for example, as a customer, an employee or a vendor). The entity that the caller is linked to is defined by the manual and/or the automatic selection function and displayed above the contact field in the screen.

The automatic selection function returns the identified caller from the business data display of the CIC front office,

Further data can be read and displayed using the lookup function. The lookup function can be parametized using a function module.

The business object for the caller together with the attribute cause the available caller in the business data display to be selected for the callback function and displayed in the screen.
