Definition

Activity codes in the customer interaction center - call center management system are used to describe the agent's worksteps. Activities are used during scripting and logging.

Examples of activities include: 'Create order', 'Put customer call on hold', or 'Start conference call'.

Customers can define their own activities. These activities must start with 'Y' or 'Z'. User-defined activities are maintained in the IMG under Customer Service - CIC Front Office.
