Definition
The program supports two methods of selecting in the dataset of your process. One is for small requests and the other for large ones. The standard program cannot, unfortunately, make this decision since the difference between "large" and "small" is an empirical value of your database distribution.
Enter a value here that has been determined by appropriate tests.
Note that this parameter is only a technical signal factor that needs to be determined by your users in cooperation with the DB/IT department. SAP recommends that you provide your end-users with this value by means of a protected selection variant, which is hidden in this field.
Example
Many list programs in the commission system use contract numbers for selection or filter these for the authorization check. This indicator specifies a number of contracts after which the selection method is to be changed.
