Definition
The basic type determines which node in the subobject hierarchy is used to create subtrees.
Use
In participation construction, you group together subobjects that use the same construction method and that stem from the same subobject. The subobject type of this common subobject from where the other subobjects are derived is determined by its basic type.
This grouping is used to form participations that document the activities of commission contract partners and their subobjects.
