Documentation
Use
This ensures that a subarea is selected as a copy source for the object currently being processed.
Use
If you set the Participation indicator, the data that you entered in the dialog is not included at the time of processing, but is copied by the selected commission case and transferred.
If you do not set this indicator, the data that you entered in the dialog is included at the time of the processing.
Example
You want to transfer the participation data from another commission case that is already known, when creating a new commission case.
Choose a corresponding commission case using its business transaction reference and the corresponding business object, then mark the subobjects that you want to transfer (e.g. participation).
@1B@
Note that all other data (in the corresponding category) that you enter directly is replaced at the time of processing by the data in the copied commission case.
Therefore, if you have explicit participation data in the above example for the commission case, then this is rejected accordingly and replaced by the participation data of the copied commission case.
The most up to date status of the copying transaction is saved with the primary entry of the commission case. If a commission case that has a copying instruction refers to another commission case with a copying instruction, then its copying instruction is not carried out. Instead, the result of the last copying transaction is taken from its primary entry (meaning that cascading copying is not supported).
