Documentation
Definition
Describes a business transaction that is the basis for address determination.
Use
Where business partners have multiple addresses, the system must be able to determine which is the correct address for a particular transaction. Transactions for address determination are defined in Customizing.
The application program uses these address transactions as a basis upon which to program. Customers are not permitted to change the transactions supplied by SAP. You can create other transactions for customer-programmed processes in the customer namespace (entry must begin with "Y" or "Z").
Customers can maintain address types in Customizing.
Consult the address determinationdocumentation for options and procedures used to find a BP address.
Example
- Receiving goods
- Sending goods
Dependencies
You can define address types in Customizing.
