Use

A reference user is a general user that is not linked to any given person. Assigning reference users enables you to assign additional authorizations. Reference users are used to assign identical authorization profiles to Internet users.

Reference user assignments are controlled by the application. You can use variables to assign the name of the reference user. The variables should begin with "$". You assign variables to reference users with transaction SU_REFUSERVARIABLE.

The assignment applies for all variables in a Central User Administration environment. If the assigned reference user does not exist in one of the Central User Adminstration subsystems, the assignment is ignored.
