Definition

The UTC time stamp is the date and time relative to UTC (Universal Coordinated Time).

To normalize local time in a UTC time stamp and thus make it comparable, it must be converted from your time zone using the ABAP command convert.

You should save the time zone redundantly, even if it is in customizing or master data.

The internal structure of the UTC time stamp comprises a date and time in packed number format <YYYYMMDDhhmmss>. There is also a high-resolution UTC time stamp (10^-7 seconds).
