Use

Procedure

You can view a list of the costing versions for a material in the Information System for Product Cost Planning in the object list List of Product Cost Estimates.

Enter the desired costing version.

Examples

Costing versions allow you to have a number of different standard cost estimates for a given material. You can then choose which one of these standard cost estimates you want to use in variance calculation.

Dependencies

The costing version is generated when you create a cost estimate.

Which costing version you choose as the basis for the target costs influences the calculation of the target costs that are used to calculate the total variances, production variances, and planning variances.
