Determines what percentage of the difference between the target costs and the control costs is interpreted as a minor difference and updated as a remaining variance.

Examples

If you have defined that only variances of more than 5% are updated, any variances under this threshold will be assigned to the relevant categories (such as input price variances, input quantity variances, or remaining input variances) in the detailed information of variance calculation. When updating, however, these amounts are assigned to the category of remaining variances. In the information system and when settling to Profitability Analysis, the minor differences are interpreted as remaining variances.
