Definition

Indicator that controls how the target costs for the valuation of scrap are calculated.

Use

You can only enter the valuation variant for the valuation of scrap in target cost version 0.

Procedure

Enter a valuation variant for the valuation of scrap. You must already have created a valuation variant for WIP and scrap (target costs) (see also: Define valuation variant for WIP and scrap (target costs)).

If you have not defined a valuation variant, the system valuates the scrap using the standard cost estimate for the material.

Dependencies

You entry of the valuation variant determines which criteria are used to calculate the costs for scrap.

The scrap is valuated during variance calculation.
