Definition

If selected, the delete program is automatically run after an archive file has been created.

Use

If you mark this check box, the delete program starts automatically. When the program starts is determined by the sequence in which archive files are to be further processed after their creation:

• Delete phase before storage: The delete program is activated after the write program has created an archive file, but before a file is stored in the storage system. If a storage system is connected, and the 'Start automatically' check box has also been marked in Customizing, the system carries out a live run of the delete program and stores the file in the Content Repository that was specified in Customizing.
• Storage before the delete phase: The delete programme is activated after the file has been stored in the Content Repository that was specified in Customizing.
