Definition
Every analysis has a unique analysis number. Different versions can exist for each analysis. Tests of each version for an analysis are identical.
When an analysis is created, a basis version is created. This version is given the version number 0. You can select individual tests and set area limitations in the basis version.
As soon as the basis version is started, a new version of this analysis is created and you can no longer make changes to the test selection or area limitations for this analysis. Changes can only be made to an analysis before it has been executed.
This ensures that the same tests with the same area limitations are executed for all versions of a basis version. This means that the results of different executions of the same analysis can be compared.
If a basis version is executed, the complete analysis is executed. If a version other than the basis version is selected, this version is continued in its entirety, if it is not already finished.
