Documentation
Definition
Using this indicator, you can instruct the system to make an entry in the planning file every time a goods movement takes place for a material as long as this material has a valid MRP type.
If this indicator is not set, the system uses the standard logic. In this case, the system looks specially to see whether a goods receipt triggers a change relevant to the planning run. The following criteria are taken into consideration, for example;
- whether the material is planned using MRP or reorder point planning
- whether a reference to a reservation, a purchase order or to a production order exists
- whether the goods movement takes place in a storage location that is planned separately or whether it is excluded from the planning run
