Use
You can use this Customizing activity to define a group of functions. The partner determination scheme specifies the permissible or mandatory partner roles for a particular business transaction. Partner determination schemes are assigned to billing document types on header and item level.
- Partner Determination Schemes
Create your scheme in this area.
- Partner Roles in the Scheme
After you have created your partner determination scheme, you can specify the partner roles allowed in this scheme. You also specify whether the relevant partner roles can be changed in the document, and whether they are mandatory.
- Partner Determination Scheme Assignment
Assign the partner determination scheme to the corresponding document types for partner processing on header or item level.
- Partner Functions
SAP standard delivery contains a range of partner roles and their associated partner types. We recommend that you look at the relationships defined in this group before you create your own partner roles.
- Account Groups - Assign Functions
Here you can see which partner roles in standard delivery have been assigned to individual account groups. If you create a new account group, assign the corresponding partner roles to it in this area.
- Partner Role Conversion
You can convert the partner role keys from the German language system in standard delivery into language-specific keys in the same format.
