In this step, you assign the conditions for message output. In the message determination schema, the conditions can be assigned to the message types.
They are defined as form routines.

Example

Condition 352 ensures that a message is only created for arrangements if a vendor arrangement exists.

Condition 350 ensures that a message is only created for settlement runs if a vendor rebate exists.

Requirements

Standard settings

The following conditions exist in the standard system for arrangements:

  • 375 Does a single document with a particular status and logistics data exist?
  • 376 Does a single document with a particular status and without logistics data exist?
  • 377 Does a document list with a particular status and logistics data exist?
  • 378 Does a document list with a particular status and without logistics data exist?
  • 379 Does a vendor billing document exist as an item in a remuneration list with a particular status and logistics data?
  • 380 Does a vendor billing document exist as an item in an remuneration list with a particular status and without logistics data?
  • 381 Does a settlement request exist as an item of a settlement request list or a posting list or an remuneration list with a particular status and logistics data?
  • 382 Does a settlement request exist as an item of a settlement request list or a posting list or a remuneration list with a particular status and without logistics data?
  • 383 Does a posting list exist as an item of a remuneration list with a particular status and logistics data?
  • 384 Does a posting list exist as an item of a remuneration list with a particular status and without logistics data?
  • 385 Does a settlement request list exist as an item of a remuneration list with a particular status and logistics data?
  • 386 Does a settlement request list exist as an item of a remuneration list with a particular status and without logistics data?

In all condition, the system checks whether the document has one of the following statuses:

  • Posting document is created
  • Document is not relevant for accounting
  • Document is cancelled and therefore complete
  • Posting document not required

Recommendation

Use the entries supplied as standard. This means that you do not have to perform any further activities.

Activities

  1. Create the conditions and a relevant form routine. Take account of the name space conventions.
  2. In the message determination schema, assign the condition to a message type, or in the access sequence, assign the condition to a condition table.

Further notes

You must activate a condition before you can use it.

You must deactivate a condition before you can delete it.
