Use

In this Customizing activity, you assign asset groups to asset classes.

Note: If an asset master record is not assigned to an asset group, the report Tax Depreciation of Fixed Assets derives its assignment from the asset class. As a result, you do not have to assign all assets individually if an asset class contains only assets from a single asset group. If an asset group is entered in both the asset master record and in the asset class, the entry in the asset master record takes precedence. If the asset group can be derived neither from the asset class nor from the asset master record, the asset master record is skipped.

Requirements

• You have defined evaluation groups in Customizing for Asset Accounting under Financial Accounting (New) --> Asset Accounting --> Master Data --> User Fields --> Define 4-Character Evaluation Groups.
• You have defined asset groups in Set Up Asset Groups for Tax Depreciation
