You can transport into the productive system any changes made to system settings during the course of your project work. For this purpose, different options are available. These are described in detail in the basis documentation and include the following:
- Transporting individual table entries
- Recording and transporting all table changes
- Transporting logical objects
You can transport the system settings of an entire warehouse number using the logical object LGNR. The bill of materials for this object contains all transferrable tables of the WM system.
The following settings or tables are not considered:
- Assignment table "Plant/storage location - warehouse number" (view V_T320).
You must maintain the entries for this table manually! You will find this table in the Implementation Guide in the chapter entitled "Interfaces for Inventory Management".
- Number range definitions and intervals
For further information on the subject "Number ranges", refer to the Implementation Guide under chapter "Number ranges (Master data)" as well as "Number ranges (Inventory)".
- Master and movement data
Activities
- Decide which tool you want to use to transport your system settings into the target system.
- Transport the table entries.
Further notes
For information on the transport system, refer to the basis documentation and the help provided for the "Workbench Organizer".
