In this activity, you define the revenue accounts allowed for quantity-based goods movement planning.
Valuation of planned sales quantities with transfer prices and the derivation of their direct materials costs is basically only made for revenue accounts entered here, or on the basis of these.
If you have activated automatic valuation with transfer prices for a layout in the planner profile, the quantities in all revenue accounts entered here will be valuated automatically, provided that all other requirements for this function have been met.
If the direct materials costs incurred in the period are to be derived for planned (production) quantities, the system must first determine the planned sales quantities and the planned balance sheet changes. It determines the planned sales quantities by summarizing the planned quantities for the revenue accounts entered here according to profit center, representative material number and plant.
Activities
Enter the revenue elements (cost element category 11) or pure P&L accounts as revenue accounts. Accounts which are defined as revenue accounts cannot, however, also be defined as change in stock accounts.
