In this step you make the configurations necessary to access the structure overview, individual overviews as well as the overview for the time line in the information system.
You can branch from the structure overview to the individual overviews for WBS elements or activities, for example.
The profile of each individual overview contains various settings and subprofiles. You can maintain all profiles:
- in the implementation steps for the information system
- directly in the profile
Position the cursor on the profile you want to maintain and press Edit profile/variant.
Settings
You can make settings to specify how the selected objects are displayed in the overviews, for example, the width of the object and field columns or whether the objects should be displayed with their descriptions.
Subprofiles
Subprofiles contain profiles for the fields that should be displayed as well as profiles for grouping and sorting criteria.
Subprofiles are default values that you can change at any time in the information system.
Filter criteria
You can can define variants to filter the selected objects on the structure and individual overviews:
- SAP has predefined criteria for the general filter, such as the person responsible, dates, durations or work.
- In addition, you can create variants for user-defined filters.
- The status filter contains a selection profile.
- You can only use the object filter in the structure overview to filter by short description and key.
Highlighting
You can define different variants for highlighting on the overviews:
- SAP has predefined general highlighting.
- In addition, you can define your own variants for user-defined highlighting.
- Stat. highlighting is used for statuses.
Display objects
You can only maintain display objects for the structure overview profile.
Here you specify the objects displayed on the structure overview, such as internally processed activities or capacity requirements.
Default Settings
The standard system has predefined profiles necessary for working in all overviews.
Recommendation
You should use the SAP standard settings so that you do not have to carry out any actions.
Actions
Maintain profiles for the overviews, if necessary.
