In connection with the Sales system (Component SD) you can use different picking techniques in the Warehouse Management system.
If you are working with LE-WM and SD, the following picking techniques are available:
- picking from fixed storage bin (without TO creation)
- random picking (with TO creation)
- picking large/small quantities
You can influence the creation of transfer orders from delivery documents using the indicator picking split. If the system determines during picking that different picking areas are addressed, the system can create a TO for each area.
Requirements
The component SD (Sales) is in use.
Activities
Assign the following to each warehouse number in accordance with your requirements:
- Picking type
- Partial picking
- Picking split for transfer orders
