In this step, you maintain the number range interval for invoice documents posted in Logistics Invoice Verification.

Activities

  1. Choose Change intervals.
  2. Choose Insert interval.

    The dialog box for inserting an interval appears.

  3. For the number ranges assigned to Logistics Invoice Verification transactions, enter the following information:
    • The fiscal year (If the same number range is to apply to several fiscal years, you need only create a number range for the last fiscal year.)
    • The number range interval
    • Possibly the number range status, if number assignment is not to start at the start of the interval
    • If the invoice document number is not to be assigned by the system, flag the field Ext (this is not allowed for the number range assigned to transaction RS - Cancel/Reverse invoice)
  4. Save the number range interval.

Notes for transport

You transport number range objects as follows:

On the Number Range for Accounting Documents screen, choose Interval -> Transport.

Note that all intervals for the selected number range object are first deleted in the target system, so that only the exported intervals exist after the import has been carried out. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of the export.

Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
