The Business Add-In ME_CIP_ALLOW_CHANGE enables you to determine whether and to what extent the configuration of a material can be changed in an item of a purchase requisition or external purchasing document.
Requirements
Standard settings
The Business Add-In can be used multiple times.
Note that the Business Add-In can be used multiple times and therefore all active implementations are called and run through.
Activities
To activate the Business Add-In, you must create an active implementation. To do so, go to Customizing for Purchasing and choose Business Add-Ins for Purchasing.
Example
The default code shows you an example implementation.
Notes
If you have not created an implementation for this BAdI, the system executes the default code.
The system behavior is as follows:
- You are not allowed to change the configuration data of a subcontracting item.
- You are allowed to change the configuration data of an inventory-managed, non-batch-managed item, but are informed of the consequences by means of a warning message.
If you create your own implementation for this BAdI, in doing so you deactivate the default code.
