Use
In this IMG activity you can define the length of the fiscal period for depreciation calculation. The base value for depreciation calculation is determined at the beginning of each fiscal period. The standard settings only allow you to calculate depreciation on a yearly base. This IMG activity allows you to modify this setting.

In this case the length of the fiscal period for depreciation calculation is 3 months (a quarter).
