Use

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) implementation to check whether the format of Russian passport number that you entered for the Business Partner as an identification number is compliant with the settings you made in the IMG activity Define Form Settings for Authorization Form (M-2).

This function only works if you activate this BAdI implementation. If you deactivate this BAdI implementation, the system does not perform this check.

If you activate this BAdI implementation, the program does not allow you to enter the Russian passport number in a format other than you defined in the IMG activity Define Form Settings for Authorization Form (M-2). If you enter another format, the system displays an error message.

Requirements

You have entered a format to be used for the passport number in the IMG activity Define Form Settings for Authorization Form (M-2).
