Diagnosis
When the system automatically creates or changes the customer for a self-payer insurance relationship it transfers certain patient master data or the alternative invoice recipient as customer data. This requires that all fields defined as mandatory fields in FI are maintained in the patient master or in the alternate invoice recipient. This requirement is not met here.
System Response
If an entry is missing from one of the FI mandatory fields, the customer is not created nor changed in FI.
Procedure
You can correct the error as follows:
- Maintain the field specified in the error message in the patient master data or in the alternative invoice recipient and save your entries.
- In Customizing for FI, check whether the above-mentioned field can be defined as an "optional field". Compare the screen modification of the customer with that of the patient, making changes where necessary in order to prevent further errors of this kind.
