Diagnosis
You want to either change the price of material with valuation type in valuation area in the previous month or you want to release a planned price. This, however, is not possible for materials with price determination indicator 3.
Price determination indicator 3 requires the standard price to remain constant throughout the period, so that all movements are valuated preliminarily with the same price. Therefore, the standard price can only be changed at the beginning of a period, before any actual data can be created.
System Response
The system does not allow the price change or the release of the planned prices for this material in the previous period.

In order to release your planned prices automatically upon the creation of new actual data, you can allow dynamic price release in Customising for the component Actual Costing/Material Ledger.
