Diagnosis
The system is attempting to perfform multi-level price determination for procurement alternative .
You have indicated that new prices that vary from the standard price by more than % will be listed in the log as an error. For the procurement alternative in question, the periodic unit price varies from the standard price by % in currency/valuation .
It is possible that the actual price varies so greatly from the standard price because the quantity of goods received in the procurement alternative is too small when compared to the quantity of input materials consumed. This occurs when a part of the consumed material is still considered work in process.
System Response
The system views the procurement alternative as containing errors.
Procedure
Set the indicator Reduced actual BOM in the selection screen for multi-level price determination. The system attempts to reduce the differences between the actual price and the standard price by reducing the input quantities in the procurement alternative. Price determination is repeated with the smaller of the two quantities - target and actual.
If the error occurs again, price determination will be performed with an input quantity of zero.
