Diagnosis

Material in valuation area has price determinaton indicator 3.

How material price determination proceeds depends on the price determination indicator.

System Response

The material price is not determined with this function because specific entries are missing.

Procedure

  1. Choose Accounting -> Controlling -> Product Cost Controlling -> Actual Costing/Material Ledger -> Periodic Material Valuation -> Determine Material Prices (Single-Level).
  2. Enter the necessary data and choose Execute.
  3. Check the results by displaying the material ledger master data.
  4. To make the price determination take effect, choose Periodic Material Valuation -> Closing Entries.
