Diagnosis

The settings for material ledger type in valuation area are not compatible with currency profile and valuation profile .

System Response

The consistency of currencies throughout the component is no longer guaranteed.

Procedure

Choose another currency profile and valuation profile.

Procedure for the system administrator

If valuation area is not yet productive in the material ledger, you have the following options:

  • Adjust material ledger type to currency profile and valuation profile in Customizing for Actual Costing/Material Ledger.
  • Assign a material ledger type to the valuation area in Customizing for Actual Costing/Material Ledger
  • Adjust the currency profile and valuation profile to the material ledger type in Customizing for Controlling - General.

If valuation area is already productive, only the third option is available to you.
